In 2008, Şırnak Vocational School was separated from Dicle University Rectorate and attached to Şırnak University Rectorate, Office Services and Secretariat, Electricity and Energy, Machinery and Metal Technologies, Accounting and Tax, Construction, Motor Vehicles and Transportation Technologies, Handicrafts, Property Protection. It continues its education and training activities with its various departments, including Security and Sports Management Programs.

Our university has adopted the main goal of meeting the educational needs of the people of the region in health, social and technical fields and providing access to individuals who are deprived of higher education opportunities in other provinces due to economic or geographical reasons. In this regard, we carefully select our academic staff from faculty members who are experts in their fields, experienced and who constantly attach importance to their academic development.

We aim to gain prestige among our vocational schools in order to train qualified intermediate staff needed in our country and around the world, and to develop the skills and vision of our students in their fields by using educational methods - such as laboratory studies, courses and technical trips - that will serve this purpose. Thus, we believe that the youth of the region have the potential to overcome mental obstacles and change historical difficulties.

By approaching our students with compassion, mercy and understanding during the education process, we encourage them to increase their self-confidence and be proud of their achievements.

We aim to contribute to the training of qualified intermediate staff needed by our society and region by aiming to develop their emotional intelligence and human values, as well as their professional competencies.

In line with this vision and mission, we adopt an education approach that is aware of universal values by constantly improving our learning and teaching processes.
